About this recording

The Covid-19 lockdown has been a learning experience for everyone. Listen to Melissa MacGregor talk about her experience as a probationer teacher, learning to adapt from classroom to online teaching. Melissa talks about the enthusiastic engagement of the children in her class and the challenge of taking care of her puppy, Marley, while teaching virtually. She also reflects upon the feelings of uncertainty when schools first closed and the fantastic way in which staff continue to support each other.

She also talks about her experience as a volunteer at the key worker hub. In addition, Melissa explains the challenges associated with her recent house purchase during these uncertain times.
