Lockdown Reflections - Befriending Caithness
Recorded 6 years agoBefriending Caithness is a voluntary service that aims to reduce isolation and loneliness in the county by matching volunteers to older isolated adults in the Caithness area.
Co-ordinators Angie House and Elspeth Manson recorded a conversation about their lockdown reflections. They explain that Befriending has made a transition from face to face visits to telephone conversations and they talk about the way that befriendees have approached these changes in a stoic and positive manner.
