Legends of Caithness is a project which aims to preserve the folklore and myths of the Caithness landscape. As part of this project, Wick Voices led a storytelling workshop on 13th July 2023. Recordings from the Wick Voices collection were used as a stimulus for the sharing of stories.

Eric Farquhar tells the strange personal tale of "Footsteps on the Stairs."
Frank McCaffrey tells of his experience of "Strange sounds at Telford House."
Isobel Sutherland retells the story of "The portrait of Adelaine Henderson at Rosebank House." Isobel also recalls stories of the "gift of second sight" and "the reading of tea leaves."
Chris McIvor reveals how, as a child with a vivid imagination, he feared there was a monstrous creature lurking in the vicinity of Wick's Black Stairs.
