He recalls the irreversible changes that have taken place over the years, resulting in a decline in the number of people now being employed in the farming industry. He recalls a lesson he learned about ‘bragging’ about getting the harvest in. He also talks about the changes that have taken place in terms of the farming community, with the closure of local schools and the local Post Offices.
