School: Then and Now
Recorded 1 year agoCaithness Archive and Wick Voices work in partnership to deliver an educational outreach programme to schools across Caithness.
Recently the children from Noss Primary School P3 Red, researched the topic “Generations Young and Old”. They particularly focussed upon “School Then and Now”.
The class visited Nucleus to find out about education and schools in Caithness in the past.
During the visit Wick Voices delivered a presentation about school days then and now, using audio clips from its vast collection. Children also talked to parents and grandparents about their experiences of school when they were growing up. This helped illustrate the many changes that have taken place over the years.
In this Wick Voices recorded compilation the children talk about what they like about school, and they also reflect upon the many changes that have taken place in schools.
